About Hyperoptic Business Broadband
Hyperoptic Business Broadband aims to deliver next-level full fibre broadband directly to business customers. With superfast symmetrical speeds, flexible contract options and business-focussed product guarantees and support, they strive to ensure that businesses run smoothly and stay connected.
Hyperoptic is a smaller provider, offering superfast full fibre broadband to business customers at competitive prices.
Boasting lightning-fast symmetrical speeds, flexible contract options and great customer service, Hyperoptic would be an excellent choice for businesses of any size - if they’re operating in your area.
Fast and reliable full fibre broadband
Hyperoptic specialises in full fibre broadband - a fibre optic internet connection directly to your premises, with no need for traditional copper cables. Put simply, that means the potential for a more reliable connection and much faster speeds.
And that’s exactly what Hyperoptic are offering, with speeds for business customers starting at 250Mbps, all the way up to a blistering 1Gbps. They also pride themselves on providing symmetrical upload and download speeds, which means you’ll get the same speeds transferring data both ways - arguably essential for busy companies.
It’s worth bearing in mind though that Hyperoptic is an altnet, meaning they don’t have the same country-wide reach that their larger competitors enjoy. They currently operate in 64 towns and cities across the UK, but it’s always worth using their postcode checker to see if your premises can access to their network.
Flexible contract options
Hyperoptic offers three speeds as standard for business customers - 250Mbps, 500Mbps and 1Gbps - which means there are options available for companies of any size, with any level of requirement. Plus, as we’ve already mentioned, all of those speeds are symmetrical, meaning the same for both upload and download.
They also pride themselves on offering a selection of contract options, depending on the needs of your business, with plans ranging from 12, 24 or 36-months - plus a monthly rolling contract.
Thinking of expanding your business and moving to a new, larger office? A rolling plan gives you the flexibility you need. Or is your business well-established and settled in? A fixed-length plan would deliver the same great service at a lower monthly price.
Leased lines for businesses
Concerned about broadband speeds slowing down at peak times? Dedicated Fibre - Hyperoptic’s leased line service - offers businesses a dedicated internet connection that isn’t shared with anyone else.
That means your data will travel along a single cable, directly from your business to the data exchange, with no other users crowding you out and gobbling up the bandwidth. You’ll get symmetrical upload and download speeds too, as with all of Hyperoptic’s other broadband packages.
Hyperoptic also offers additional benefits with their leased line services, including dedicated business support, 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm, and 24/7 network monitoring and tech support, with a 5-hour SLA to resolve any issues, or your money back.
Total coverage with Total Wi-Fi
Hyperoptic’s Total Wi-Fi service promises to eliminate dead zones, ensuring that your teams, clients and customers have reliable access to a lightning-fast internet connection, no matter where they are on your premises.
Utilising wifi extenders - which Hyperoptic calls Minihubs - the Total Wi-Fi service creates a mesh across the whole office, and it can be added to any contract, starting from £7 per month.
If you have a large office, or one split over multiple floors, this service is a no-brainer, providing a stable, reliable connection throughout.
Robust business communications
Broadband isn’t the whole story, though. Businesses communicate in a number of ways, and Hyperoptic is well aware of that.
They have partnered with RingCentral to provide business customers with VoIP telephone, instant messaging and video calling services - everything you and your teams might need to stay connected.
This VoIP service is only available as an add-on however, so it’ll cost you a little extra every month.
Great customer service
Hyperoptic has a focus on providing great customer service, especially for their business customers. Their dedicated Business Care team manages accounts and takes a hands-on approach to onboarding new customers, helping to book installations and providing regular updates.
They also have a specialist team dedicated to business installations, which aims to make the setup process as smooth and painless as possible. Not to mention a business support team offering 24-hour SLAs.
