The service will be available in 25 towns and cities across the UK by the end of 2019.
Three are to launch 5G home broadband this August.
The service will initially only be available in London but will have expanded to 25 towns and cities across the UK by the end of 2019.
These locations include Birmingham, Manchester, Reading, Milton Keynes, Cardiff, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Information regarding the cost of these 5G home broadband packages, mobile contracts and handsets will become available in July.
The mobile operator has suggested that its 5G network could offer up to double the speeds of its closest rivals, EE and Vodafone.
EE were the first provider to launch a 5G network in the UK on 30th May with Vodafone set to follow on 3rd July.
Three are to invest a huge £2 billion into its infrastructure to ensure this 5G network is properly supported.
“We have worked hard over a long period of time to be able to offer the best end to end 5G experience,” said Three CEO Dave Dyson.
“5G is a game changer for Three, and of course I am excited that we will be the only operator in the UK who can offer true 5G.”
